Incorporating Scripture, silence, Interplay, creative practices, and community reflection. These contemplative liturgies honor the rhythm of Holy Week and invite embodied, artistic participation
The New Commandment — A Maundy Thursday Reflection
"Love one another as I have loved you."
— John 13:34
This Maundy Thursday, we entered into a sacred rhythm of love, presence, and embodied reflection. As you move forward from this liturgy, we invite you to continue listening to how love is asking you to move, serve, and respond.
Reflection Questions:
Where in your life are you being called to kneel in love?
How does it feel to receive love? What resistance or joy comes up?
Whose "feet" are you being asked to wash—metaphorically or literally?
What gesture, word, or creative act might embody Christ’s love today?
Practice Suggestions:
Draw or doodle a heart, a towel, or a basin — a reminder of this act of service.
Practice a hand-washing ritual at home, blessing yourself or another with intention.
Sit in silence and listen for the name or face of someone to love in action this week.
Blessing:
You have been loved. You are being sent in love.
Go in peace, to love and serve—heart, body, and soul.
